BUILT IN CANADA / UNDERSTOOD EVERYWHERE

Canadian products deserve to be found.

Let’s give the machines enough to understand them.

Canadians want to buy Canadian. But when people search, browse or ask an AI, smaller Canadian brands can be harder to surface—not because the products are weaker, but because the product data machines depend on may be missing, inconsistent, ambiguous or structured in ways those systems cannot reliably use.

01 / THE CANADIAN GAP

The desire is there. The digital shelf does not always cooperate.

01

People want to buy Canadian.

Intent is not the problem. Discovery is increasingly mediated by search engines, retailers, marketplaces and AI systems.

02

Machines need explicit facts.

A product can be excellent and still be poorly understood when identity, variants, availability or Canadian offers are ambiguous.

03

Smaller brands need leverage.

They cannot outspend global brands. They can be more precise about the product data every downstream channel depends on.

People see a product. Machines see the facts provided about it.

A shopper can recognize a red waterproof jacket immediately. A platform has to reconstruct that product from the identity, variant, attributes, price and availability it receives.

When those facts are missing, conflicting or attached to the wrong product, variant or offer, the item may be harder to match, compare, surface or recommend.

CCFP helps Canadian brands find and fix those gaps.

02 / WHERE SMALLER BRANDS CAN HAVE OUTSIZED IMPACT

Fix the product facts once. Strengthen every channel that uses them.

The product feed is the kernel, not the whole operating system. Brand discovery also depends on trust, relevance, price, availability and customer experience. Product data matters because it is foundational, observable and within a brand’s control.

03 / PUBLIC-GOOD INFRASTRUCTURE

A common product language and tools that translate, check and compare.

CCFP is building reusable infrastructure that any brand, agency or developer can inspect and improve. It turns the different stories told by a website, Shopify, Google, Meta and product files into evidence-backed findings a team can act on.

01

Bring what you have

Website product facts, Shopify and Meta CSVs, Google text feeds, or neutral CSV and JSON.

02

Translate it

Turn each source into one common product language without confusing channel IDs with product identity.

03

Check it three ways

Test the website, destination feeds and underlying product structure separately.

04

Compare the versions

Find drift across channels only when the brand confirms which records refer to the same product.

05

Know what to fix

Get exact findings, supporting evidence and limitations. Fix the source, then run it again.

BUILT / PRE-RELEASE

04 / THREE READINESS SURFACES

Three separate checks. Three different questions.

CCFP checks whether machines can read your website, whether commerce feeds meet destination rules, and whether the underlying product record is structurally sound. Passing one check does not prove the others.

01WEB

Open-Web Product Readability

Checks: product pages, structured data and facts published on the open web.

Why it matters: systems need to identify the product, connect its variants and locate a current Canadian offer.

WHAT CAN HAPPENTwo sizes appear on the page, but their relationship is not stated. Systems may treat them as unrelated products.
02COMMERCE

Syndicated Commerce Readiness

Checks: channel feeds, identifiers, categories, prices and availability.

Why it matters: incomplete or conflicting fields can reduce eligibility, matching and listing accuracy.

WHAT CAN HAPPENA product has an assigned GTIN, but the feed omits it. Google may limit its visibility.Google product data specification ↗
03CANONICAL

Canonical Product Readiness

Checks: whether identity, attributes, variants, offers and evidence are structured at the right level.

Why it matters: reliable product context helps systems compare alternatives and recommend a product when it is genuinely a good fit.

WHAT CAN HAPPENPurpose, material and performance details are missing, so an assistant cannot judge when the product is a better fit than the alternatives.
One shared correction can travel. Fix the underlying fact once, project it deliberately, then test each surface on its own evidence. Better readiness improves machine understanding; it does not guarantee discovery or growth. Compare the platform maps →

05 / TWO WAYS TO USE IT

Build it yourself, or use it privately as a verified Canadian brand.

The public foundation stays open. Real brand data enters only through a verified, private path.

PUBLICOPEN TO EVERYONE

Download the model. Build it in your own environment.

Your team or agency can keep every product record private. Use the open artifacts as the foundation, then add four things:

  1. An importer for your website, store or feed files
  2. A mapping from your product and variant IDs into the model
  3. The checks needed for each destination
  4. A report your team can fix and rerun

The full public repository, including the downloadable validator, will open after release review.

VERIFIEDCANADIAN BRANDS

Use the diagnostic runtime without making your catalogue public.

Verified Canadian brands can request a private audit. We analyze only the exports you choose to provide. The audit engine cannot connect to your store, commerce platforms or other external services. CCFP does not retain your feeds, product records or customer data after the session. We return an evidence-backed report your team can implement.
